EFX Sponsors Nascar Driver Joey Gase
EFX-Sponsored Driver Joey Gase Places 27 in the Weather-Shortened Coke Zero 400 at Daytona International Speedway
EFX sponsored driver Joey Gase, driving for Rick Ware Racing, placed 27th at the completion of the weather-shortened Coke Zero Sugar 400 held over the Fourth of July holiday weekend at Daytona International Speedway. This is Gase’s sixth Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series start of 2019. Gase is a NASCAR Xfinity Series regular, racing full-time in that series since 2014.
The Coke Zero Sugar 400 at Daytona International Speedway was originally slated for July 6, however rain moved into the Daytona Beach, Florida, area about two hours before the original green-flag time of 7:40 p.m. ET. Despite NASCAR’s track-drying efforts, the race was moved to July 7.
On race day, Gase piloted a patriotic paint scheme on the No. 53 entry, which was sponsored by EFX, as well as Connected Claim Services, Action Restoration and TrackDown. The race aired live on NBC, the NBC Sports App, MRN and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio.
