No matter the size of the fleet, it is vital to have a documented emergency plan for both physical and technological break-ins.
You may have a vague idea of how you would like to respond in an emergency situation, but if it ever occurs, having a step-by-step list is an invaluable asset to ensure you react promptly and compliantly to report losses to the authorities, your processor and your insurer.

Individualized ATM Security is More Cost-Effective
IADs will find it is more cost-effective to implement a customized security plan by machine than a blanket plan by fleet. Instead of spending your security budget equally across your machines, analyze which machines may be targeted by criminals, and allocate more funds accordingly.
IADs may find it helpful to analyze each machine by location, age, and usage. By objectively looking at each of these factors, you will easily be able to determine which machines may require more attention.
